Director of Photography

While in the midst of studying film production at Hampshire College, Jake began his work in the documentary world by photographing an epic, 5-year, 'round-the-world verité documentary following the lives of a troupe of circus performers. From there he began and is still filming a long-term documentary that intimately details the ups and downs of three elite amateur boxers turned pro. Jake has also worked on documentary projects ranging from traditional European breweries to hand-crafted organ builders in Gloucester, MA.

In addition to filming documentaries, Jake regularly produces, shoots and edits commercials and corporate pieces for both broadcast and internet distribution. He has filmed for international and local companies, advertising agencies, and production houses. Jake also brings his experience as a Steadicam operator to many of the projects he films. He currently resides in Boston, MA.
